What is the QFC

The Queensland Firefighters Charity (QFC) is dedicated to providing assistance that enhances the quality of life for serving and retired Firefighters and members of their families. The QFC was formed in the aftermath of the floods of 2010-11 that devastated many Queensland communities. Managed by a board of dedicated volunteers, the QFC has one simple goal; to provide practical assistance and solutions to members of the Fire and Rescue community while maintaining dignity. To help those whom put their lives on the line every day to save others, and support to their families in times of need.

The QFC is a non-for-profit and non-government funded charity which relies completely on the generosity and support of the Australian community.

The role of a Firefighter is one of bravery, loyalty and devotion to others. Like Firefighters, we at the Queensland Firefighters Charity are also passionate about our work and the assistance we provide to these men and women who risk their lives for ours.
